We are The Hobbs. At our music school, we believe that the arts are a powerful tool for learning and personal growth. Our Arts Integration classes are thoughtfully developed using early childhood education standards, seamlessly blending language, literacy, fine arts, and social-emotional learning. We focus on compassion, community, and creativity, nurturing well-rounded individuals who are not only musically skilled but also emotionally intelligent and socially connected.
Julissa Sabino
Creative Educator | Founder | Advocate for Imaginative Learning
Julissa Sabino Hobbs brings a dynamic blend of creativity, energy, and expertise to her work as a teaching artist. With nearly a decade of experience in music, movement, and theater education, Julissa is dedicated to nurturing children’s creativity while building essential skills like critical thinking, social-emotional awareness, and self-expression.
At esteemed institutions like the Woodruff Arts Center and Alliance Theatre, she has led diverse programs ranging from baby yoga to theater workshops, designing curricula that inspire learners of all ages. Known for her engaging teaching style, Julissa uses innovative strategies to encourage student participation, foster imaginative play, and meet developmental milestones.
A proud New York University alumna, Julissa combines her academic background with her bilingual proficiency in Spanish to create inclusive, student-focused environments. She thrives on collaborating with families, educators, and students to bring the joy of learning to life.
Jeremiah Hobbs
Professional Musician | Co-Founder | Seasoned Educator
Jeremiah Hobbs is an accomplished music educator and teaching artist with a rich background in theater performance, music composition, and creative instruction. With over 20 years of experience as a guitarist and extensive expertise in music and theatrical arts, Jeremiah brings a unique blend of artistry and teaching excellence to his work.
Having worked with esteemed organizations like the Woodruff Arts Center and Legacy Theatre, Jeremiah has guided students of all ages through dynamic lessons in music composition, performance techniques, and rhythm. His passion for creativity extends to directing productions, crafting original musical works, and leading engaging workshops that challenge students' skills while building their confidence.
A graduate of Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Performance, Jeremiah combines his technical skill with an interactive, student-centered approach. His experience as a worship leader and accomplished musician ensures every lesson is infused with energy, encouragement, and a love for learning.
Jeremiah’s mission is to inspire the next generation of musicians and performers, cultivating a space where creativity thrives and students can discover their unique voice.

We’re located at Studio South ATL in Sharpsburg near Thomas Crossroads.

We do not offer day-of drop-ins for classes, but we do have Open Play hours during the week where you can join us on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We welcome students ages 0 - 18 years old! For teens, we offer workshop intensives, open-mic nights & private lessons.
